Tarbert Under 15 Footballers were defeated by a very strong Kinsale side on Monday in windy conditions in Kanturk.

After a slow start Tarbert battled back into the game and trailed by a single point at half time. They started the second half the stronger and levelled the game through a fine Pa Dillon point.

The game was in the melting pot with five minutes to go but it was Kinsale, aided by the strong breeze, who powered on to a convincing win despite the Tarbert boys fighting to the very end.
