Match-day Procedures

  1. Bye rule an Official Munster PPS hardcopy team sheet must be provided to; (a) Referee, and (b) Opposing team Management. This team sheet should provide the list of squad players and their associated date of Births.
  2. These team sheets can be printed easily from the new Munster PPS GAA “Registration tab”.
  3. Provide the fee to the Official referee and Groundsman.
  4. Provide a Transition year Future Leaders / Student-led sports journalists provide a  match report & pictures in particular from Q-Finals onwards:
    • HT Score & Final Score
    • Key moment for your team (Scoring a goal, great save, hit the post etc..)
    • Top scorer and / or best player for your team
    • Any other key factors (played against the wind in the first half, injury to key player..)
    • Team photo, 2 x Action Shots and Presentation of cup (if a final).
  5. Video permissions:
    • Permission to video games is given to schools on the strict understanding that a copy of the video will be made available to Munster PPS upon request for disciplinary or promotional purposes.
  6. Twitter:
    • All schools who have an active Twitter account and who are posting live updates on their games should tag @munsterpps on each post to allow for the message to be retweeted to a wider audience.
  7. Wearing Incorrect numbers:
    • In all games where a team sheet or programme is produced, schools are expected to line out according to the panel provided.
  8. Schools Provision of Team sheets for Match Programmes:
    • Harty Cup/Corn Ui Mhuiri Group games – Minimum of 50 sheets to be printed by EACH school school and presented to the steward at the gate at least 45 minutes before throw-in.
    • Harty Cup/Corn Ui Mhuiri Knock-out games – Team panels to be printed by Munster PPS. Schools to provide team and panel at least 48 hours in advance to the Munster PPS Servicing officer, Eoin Ryan.
    • Finals at all grades – Team panels to be printed by Munster PPS. Schools to provide team and panel at least 48 hours in advance to the Munster PPS Servicing officer, Eoin Ryan.
