CBS Ennistymon took on Ardscoil na Mara, Tramore last Wednesday in Lattin GAA Grounds, Tipperary.
The weather leading up to the game was dreadful and underfoot conditions were soft but playable.
CBS took an early lead with free taker Macdara O’Keeffe picking off six points in the first half. Joshua Vaughan contributed a further point and the half time score was 0-7 to 0-3 in favour of CBS.
Ardscoil started the 2nd half with ferocious pace and found themselves a point ahead with only 15 minutes left, after some well taken scores. Ennistymon’s Eanna Rouine then found the back of the net and set Ennistymon up for a strong finish. Mark Callinan’s final point left the scoreline 1-13 to 0-10.
Other standout performers for Ennistymon included Paudie Considine and Conor Rynne.
