Schull Community College defeated Meánscoil SN An Rinn by 5-6 to 2-5 in Round 3 of the TUS Corn Sean Ó hEathirn (15 E Football) competition on Tuesday October 10th at Mahon.
Frankie Whelton accounted for 1-4 of the Schull team’s scores and was dangerous throughout.
The start was key for Schull as they raced into a 2-2 lead within the first 15 minutes – one of the goals courtesy of the hard working Daniel Copinthorne.
After an end to end start to the second half, Schull regained control of the game and dominated the final 15 minutes with more well taken goals from Fionn Murphy, Ronan O’Leary and Micheal Ward.
