Coláiste Cholmáin Fermoy will play Ardscoil Rís Limerick in the Dean Ryan Cup Final on Friday October 25th at 1:30pm in Kilmallock.
11 schools entered the 2019 / 2020 Munster GAA Post Primary Schools Dean Ryan Cup (Under 16.5 A Hurling) competition with Round 1 taking place on Week Commencing September 16th.
In Round 1, CBS Midleton proved too strong for Nenagh CBS, sharing eight goals in a high scoring 4-23 to 4-11 victory for the Cork side.
Coláiste Cholmáin Fermoy were too good for Árdscoil Uí Urmaltaigh Bandon, winning by 2-19 to 0-9 while defending champions Thurles CBS lost out to De La Salle Waterford by 2-15 to 1-10.
The first two Quarter-Finals took place on Wednesday October 2nd. St. Flannans recorded a come from behind two point victory over Gaelcholáiste Mhuire AG while Ardscoil Rís had 19 points to spare against St. Francis College Rochestown.
CBS Midleton defeated Christian Brothers College, Cork by 0-17 to 0-12 in the third Quarter-Final on Wednesday October 9th while the final Q-Final played on Friday October 11th resulted in a 2-19 to 0-19 victory for Coláiste Cholmáin Fermoy over De La Salle College Waterford.
Ardscoil Rís defeated St. Flannans by 2-18 to 2-11 in the Semi-Final on Wednesday October 9th while Coláiste Cholmáin Fermoy proved too strong for CBS Midleton in the other semi-final on October 17th, winning by 2-26 to 0-10 in Ballincollig.
