TUS Corn Risteard Uí Mhathúna (Under 19 C Hurling) – CBS Ennistymon 4-14 Colaiste an Phiarsaigh Glanmire 3-11

CBS Ennistymon defeated Colaiste an Phiarsaigh Glanmire by 4-14 to 3-11 in the TUS Corn Risteard Uí Mhathúna (Under 19 C Hurling) competition on Wednesday November 30th at Cappamore to qualify for the Quarter-Finals.

The game started lively with a goal from Glanmire, before Macdara O’Keeffe from Ennistymon responded in kind. The lead switched hands frequently throughout the first half with Ennistymon leading 1-8 to 1-6 by half time.

Jack Cullinan pounced for Ennistymon’s first goal of the second half, quickly followed by substitute Darragh McGroary’s ferocious shot along the ground to the back of the net. Glanmire didn’t lie down and were only two points behind in the closing stages, but Macdara O’Keeffe again found the back of Glanmire’s net to leave the final score 4-14 to 3-11.
