Cup Description
The trophy is named after Liam Higgins. Liam was a former Kerry Senior All-Ireland winning footballer who taught and trained football teams in Dingle CBS with 2 All Ireland Championships in 1996 and 2001. Liam was also a prominent broadcaster and journalist in Kerry. Since the 2023/2024 season, the competition moved from Under 16.5 to Under 17.
